Giersch innovative Heizsysteme, based in Hemer, has been developing and manufacturing oil and gas burners "Made in Germany" for more than 60 years. The product range includes forced-draught burners (oil, gas, dual-fuel and universal oil burners), oil and gas condensing boilers, low-temperature boilers as well as heat pumps for drinking water, air/water and brine/water versions, including heat pump hygiene storage tanks. The company has been working with condensing technology and renewable energies for more than 20 years. Its centrepiece is the DUO-HYBRID system, which combines gas condensing technology with heat pump technology and PV-T collectors, covering up to 80% of annual heating demand renewably. The heat pumps can be used in output ranges from 2.5 to 16.2 kW (cascadeable), while the condensing unit covers 3.5 to 65 kW. The offering is complemented by system simulation and system design, subsidy consulting, remote monitoring/control, customer service and training at the company's own laboratory in Hemer. Customers are specialised partners from heating and building technology for private installations as well as industry and trade; the company belongs to the Swedish NIBE Group.
