About Gießener Brauerei
Gießener Brauerei GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2017 on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the German Purity Law and distributes the Pils Schlammbeiser, a bottom-fermented lager beer with 4.9% vol. alcohol. The beer is brewed by hand and to high quality standards not far from Giessen; the exclusive use of aroma hops of the varieties Perle, Spalter and Saphir as well as domestic barley malt shape the flavor. The pale yellow, mild and finely hoppy Pils is available in 0.33-l bottles and 30-liter kegs in beverage retail and gastronomy in the region. Five cents per bottle flow into a fund intended to finance the construction of the company's own brewery in Giessen. The company is owned by more than 50 shareholders who hold limited partner shares starting at 1,000 euros. The company's registered office is at Breslauer Straße 4 in Giessen.
