About us
Gietz & Co AG is a family business founded in 1892 by Johann Friedrich Gietz, headquartered in Dietlikon (ZH), and is now run by the 5th generation. The company supplies the graphic arts industry in Switzerland with machines from leading foreign manufacturers for offset printing, digital printing and print finishing. The portfolio includes digital presses from Canon (imagePRESS series), offset presses from Komori as well as folding, cutting, die-cutting, stitch-and-fold, perfect binding and collating machines from Horizon, guillotine cutters from baumannperfecta, laminating machines from Foliant, cutting/creasing systems and counting machines from Uchida, and digital plotters from Sinajet. Originally established as a service workshop for a German printing press manufacturer, the offering today also includes service, consulting and the sales of used machines via gietz-occasionen.ch. Since 1 October 2011, Gietz has been distributing Komori offset presses and has established itself as a specialist in print finishing with manufacturers such as Horizon, baumannperfecta and Foliant.

Distribution of Johannisberg letterpress machines, later Miller offset presses as well as Sakurai and Akiyama printing machines.
- 2011
Since 1 October 2011 distribution of Komori offset presses; Gietz established itself with manufacturers such as Horizon, baumannperfecta and Foliant as a leading specialist in the field of print finishing.
The company is currently run by the 5th generation of the founding family.
