About GILARDY
GILARDY GmbH is a family-run jeweller with its own in-house goldsmith and platinum workshop in Munich as well as a gemstone cutting and wholesale business (M.Y. Gilardy) in Idar-Oberstein that has existed since 1964. The company produces individual one-off pieces, engagement rings, wedding rings, signet rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets and earrings in 18 karat gold (white, rose and yellow gold), platinum 950, silver, High-Tech Ceramic and stainless steel. All gemstones are cut and faceted in the company's own facility, including aquamarine, tourmaline, ruby, sapphire, emerald, amethyst, citrine and diamonds; special shapes and special cuts are possible on customer request. The production process comprises consultation, material selection, 3D design modelling, casting preparation by melting the precious metal, setting the stones, and grinding and polishing. In addition, jewellery repairs, redesigns of existing jewellery, ring resizing and ultrasonic cleaning are offered. Customers come from the jewellery and gemstone trade as well as the investment diamond and investment gemstone sector; sales take place via two jewellery stores in Munich, an online shop and activity at international diamond bourses.
