Gilgen, Müller & Weigert (GMW) is a manufacturer of measuring and test technology based in Cadolzburg near Fürth. The company produces over 220,000 products annually, including around 200,000 analogue display devices and approximately 20,000 electronic measuring instruments. The portfolio includes low-voltage and medium-voltage current transformers, measuring transducers, analogue display devices, digital panel meters, shunt resistors, energy meters, control cabinet components as well as appliance testers for testing protective measures in accordance with DIN VDE 0701-0702, DIN EN 62353 and DIN VDE 0544-4. In addition to series production, GMW develops customer-specific custom solutions and offers project support, standard upgrades, calibration, repair, spare parts and rental equipment. The products are used in industries such as power plant engineering, industry, energy supply, aviation and shipping, medical and environmental technology, rail transport, photovoltaics and e-mobility. Moving-coil and moving-iron indicators are manufactured at the production facility in Blansko, Czech Republic. The measuring technology is in use in more than 65 countries.
