The engineering firm Gillich + Semmelmann is a service provider for surveying, urban land-use planning, geoinformation and cadastral services based in Herrenberg (Baden-Württemberg). It evolved from the surveying office founded by Sieghard Gillich in 1986; in 1993 Sieghard Gillich and Karl Semmelmann joined forces to form an engineering company. The service portfolio covers engineering, construction and deformation surveys, topographic surveys, site plans for building permit applications, and cadastral surveys such as land subdivisions, boundary determinations, official building surveys and road boundary surveys. The firm is a partnership under the German Civil Code with the two managing directors Jochen Gillich and Arne Semmelmann, the latter being sworn in as a publicly appointed authorized surveyor.
