GIP Gesellschaft für industrielle Prozesstechnik mbH (GIP Automation) is an internationally active provider of automation solutions for the manufacturing and process industries. The company implements complete systems from the field level to the control room: PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff), SCADA and HMI visualization, process control systems for batch and continuous plants as well as automatic weighing, dosing and conveying of solid and liquid media. The range of services also includes control cabinet construction and wiring, warehouse management with RFID and scanner solutions as well as planning, engineering and project management through to commissioning. With its own MES software VarioBatch® for batch management, recipe management, traceability and ERP integration (e.g. SAP), GIP closes the gap between the enterprise level and the field level. Solutions are used, among others, in chemicals, food and beverages, animal feed/petfood and building materials – both for new plants and modernizations. Founded in 1994, the company is based in Oftersheim near Mannheim and serves customers worldwide.
