About us
Since 1971, Gipson Metallverarbeitung GmbH has been producing ready-to-install machine parts for manufacturers in the machinery, crane, tooling, vehicle and plant engineering sectors. The family-owned company with over 50 employees at its site in Mengen (Baden-Württemberg) specialises in CNC machining: turning up to Ø 1,800 mm with 7,000 mm turning length, bed milling up to 7,000 × 2,500 × 1,500 mm, deep-hole drilling up to Ø 24 mm at 1,000 mm depth, as well as cylindrical (external and internal) and surface grinding. Parts are machined, among other materials, in aluminium and high-strength steels; in addition to conventional methods, trochoidal turning is also used, which enables stable processes even in tough materials. Through continuous optimisation of machines and tools, the company achieves high flexibility and short delivery times. In 2024, the seventh expansion was completed with the acquisition of the neighbouring Dolpp building: the premises grew to over 18,000 m² and the hall capacity to 7,600 m². A 652 kWp PV system covers a large share of the electricity demand and reduces CO₂ emissions by around 380 tonnes per year.

Materials & Processes
Aluminium
Machined, among other methods, by trochoidal turning, which enables controlled chip formation and low heat generation.
High-Strength Steels
High-strength steels can be reliably machined using trochoidal turning, with a stable process and longer tool life.
