GIS Aqua Austria GmbH is a family-run, medium-sized plant engineering company founded in 1914 and based in Amstetten, Lower Austria. The company is active in water treatment in Austria and internationally, covering wastewater, drinking water, desalination, flood protection and steel construction. Key components for its own plants – and beyond that for other industries – are manufactured in-house and marketed under the Ginzler brand. GIS Aqua offers basic and detailed technical planning, pure equipment supply as well as partnerships and turnkey projects, handling them completely from start to finish. In addition, the company provides service and operation tasks for existing plants. References include, among others, the Đakovo wastewater treatment plant in Croatia.
