About GISMA Steckverbinder

Since 1983, GISMA Steckverbinder GmbH has specialized in the development, design and production of underwater connectors. The independent, owner-managed company based in Neumünster manufactures electrical, fiber-optic and hybrid connectors for operating depths down to 10,000 m. The production program comprises more than 15,000 different connectors in 16 series. With computer-aided design, in-house toolmaking and computer-controlled machines in production, custom solutions to customer requirements are also realized. The products are used, among other applications, in the offshore industry, the oil and gas industry, marine technology, ocean research and on submarines. GISMA supplies standard connectors with up to 265 contacts, operating voltages up to 12 kV AC and currents up to 1000 A; all commercially available optical fibers in single-mode and multimode technology can be assembled.
