Gizeh Raucherbedarf GmbH produces and sells rolling papers, filter tubes, roll-your-own filters and accessories for rolling and stuffing cigarettes and is a leading player in the Roll Your Own and Make Your Own market segments in Germany. The headquarters in Gummersbach-Windhagen houses administration, national and international sales as well as an in-house printing plant with connected die-cutting facility, which produces highly specialised packaging for rolling papers and filter tubes. Further locations are a central warehouse in Bergneustadt, a production site in Bremen-Woltmershausen, and production plants in Imbsheim (France, filter tubes) and St. Peter (Austria, rolling papers). The main materials processed are cellulose, flax/hemp blends and hemp; the gumming consists of gum arabic or starch-based dextrin. Filter tubes are made from cellulose acetate, including variants with micro-perforation and activated carbon. With more than 600 employees, the company, part of the Dutch corporate group Mignot & De Block since 1997, exports the Gizeh and Mascotte brands to more than 80 countries worldwide.
