About Gläserne Molkerei

Gläserne Molkerei GmbH is a pure organic dairy with roots in north-eastern Germany, operating sites in Münchehofe (Brandenburg) and Dechow (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). Since its foundation, only organic products in association-certified organic quality have been produced. The organic milk is sourced predominantly from partner farms in the six federal states surrounding the two sites; the company relies on long-term partnerships with organic farmers in the region, supports farms in converting to organic agriculture and secures jobs at the sites. The raw milk is processed into products such as drinking milk (including pasture milk and hay milk), butter, yogurt, buttermilk and cheese. Transparency, animal welfare and biodiversity are central themes of the company; visitors can tour the dairy in Münchehofe as part of guided tours and visit the farm shop. For its commitment, Gläserne Molkerei was awarded the German Sustainability Award for Companies 2026 as well as the pro agro Marketing Prize 2026.
