About Glas Ahne
Glas Ahne GmbH is a master craft workshop for glass in Pirna, Saxony, and manufactures custom glass solutions for interiors. The range of services includes made-to-measure glass showers, custom-fit sauna glazing and saunas, office partitions and all-glass installations, switchable PDLC laminated glass based on HP-LCG® technology, and high-quality glass interior fittings such as glass staircases, walkable glass, balustrades, sliding systems, kitchen splashbacks and counter cladding. Projects are accompanied from consulting through site survey and planning with the company's own construction system to delivery and installation, all from a single source. Materials processed include clear glass, satin-finished glass, functional and safety glass, switchable laminated glass, and powder-coated aluminium profiles; wood elements are used in sauna construction. Customers come from hospitality, wellness/spa, office and commercial, medical practices and clinics, trade-fair construction, automotive showrooms, and private residential construction. Reference projects include, among others, the Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden, the Messehotel Erfurt and Rolls-Royce Dresden. A team of 13 employees works on approximately 1,300 m² of production space in Pirna; the business is run as a family-owned company.
