Glas + Contur GmbH from Berlin supports architects, building owners, general contractors, façade planners and metal fabricators in implementing projects involving the material glass in the exterior and interior of buildings. The service portfolio includes the preparation and review of bills of quantities for the building material glass, the determination of photometric values and the creation of data sheets, cost calculations, and sample approval with hand samples and mock-up façades. In addition, structural and computational verifications (glass structural analysis) are prepared, and support through approval procedures such as individual case approvals and individual component testing is offered. The product range includes functional glasses, thermal, solar control and sound insulation glazing, fire protection glass, safety glass (ESG, TVG, VSG, VG), curved glass, glass tubes and rods, anti-reflective and printed glass, SG glazing, and special laminated glass with inserts made of fabric, wood or metal. Supplementary repair glazing including measurement, glass type determination and emergency glazing is also carried out. Through cooperation with partner companies, the company accompanies projects throughout the entire creation process.
