About Glas Demmel
GLAS Demmel GmbH is a master craft business for glass and design based in Gröbenzell near Munich. The family-owned company manufactures and installs custom-made glass solutions for private customers, commercial clients and construction projects: windows and window panes including repair and noise protection, emergency glazing, glass railings, glass partitions, sliding doors, glass stairs, glass facades, kitchen glass splashbacks, mirrors and glass furniture. In addition, picture frames are manufactured, which can be individually configured via an online configurator. Production is carried out to customer specifications, installation is performed by the company itself, and an emergency glazing service rounds out the offering. Since 2021, Xaver Schmelzer has been running the business in the next generation, supported by two journeymen. References include work on historical buildings such as Nymphenburg Palace as well as modern glass facades and interior fit-outs in the greater Munich area.
