About Glas Meinhart
Glas Meinhart GmbH is an Austrian glass manufacturer based in Haid (Ansfelden) in Upper Austria. The family business, founded in 1966 by Siegfried and Hannelore Meinhart, produces custom glass solutions including glass doors, sliding systems, railing systems, canopy systems, kitchen splashbacks and glass art. A particular focus is glass bending technology: curved glass and curved chrome mirrors with radii over 12 cm as well as three-dimensionally shaped formats up to 2 × 3 m are produced; custom one-piece pieces up to 6 m in length are possible. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers a repair service for window glass, door glass, mirrors, security glass, oven glass, fireplace glass and insulating glass – also in curved form. In the insect screen sector, spot-welded fibreglass mesh or solid aluminium mesh in anodised aluminium frames is made for windows, sliding and hinged doors. Reference customers include the UKH Linz and the House of Silence project (art in architecture).
