170 Years of Glass Tradition from Regensburg
Glas Natter GmbH from Regensburg is a fourth-generation family business specialising in the processing and finishing of flat glass. Its core business is the production of multi-pane insulating glass as well as a broad range of functional insulating glass: thermal insulation glass (NEUTRALUX®), solar control glass (SOLARLUX®), sound insulation glass (AKUSTEX®), bird protection glass (ORNILUX®), safety glass (ESG, VSG), fire-resistant glass (ARDOREX®), light-directing and decorative glass. Production takes place on computer-controlled finishing machines and a fully automatic insulating glass production line; the warehouse stocks around 600 tonnes of base glass in formats up to 600 x 321 cm. As a long-standing ISOLAR® licensee, Glas Natter primarily serves trade contractors such as window, metal and facade builders, glaziers and joiners, as well as architects, including special formats in the project business. Delivery is by its own trucks with loading cranes, usually directly to the construction site; installation assistance with suction devices complements the offering.

Quality to ISOLAR® Standard
As an ISOLAR® partner, Glas Natter practises a three-tier quality assurance system consisting of in-house monitoring of the manufacturing operation as well as external monitoring by the ISOLAR® Group and neutral institutes — since 1981, before the introduction of the German insulating glass standard. Performance and data sheets for all glass build-ups are published.
