Glas Trösch Holding AG is a Swiss family-owned company founded in 1905 and headquartered in Bützberg, which has specialized in glass for over 100 years. The company produces float glass (EUROFLOAT) made of soda-lime glass using the float process at its own sites in Hombourg (FR), Osterweddingen and Haldensleben (DE) as well as Ujazd (PL), and manufactures from it laminated safety glass (EUROLAMEX) with PVB film in an autoclave, coated glass (SILVERSTAR, HY-TECH-GLASS), fire-resistant glass (FIRESWISS), bird protection glass (BIRDPROTECT) as well as insulating and safety glass. The product lines also include daylight and light-directing solutions (OKASOLAR, OKALUX+), thin glass solutions, rail and aircraft glazing (Rail, Mecaplex) as well as automotive glass. With around 6,000 employees, the group is represented in 15 countries with around 70 sites, including in Switzerland, Germany, France, Poland, Moldova, Ukraine and the USA. The core markets are architecture/construction, automotive, rail vehicles, aviation and technical glass.
