About us
GlasDruckManufaktur GmbH in Langenselbold specializes in direct printing on glass – according to its own statement, the royal discipline of printing on rigid materials. Founded by glass, IT and automation experts, the entire production chain is consistently optimized for the material glass: from the industrial glass washing machine for panels up to 3.2 m in width, to the transport and handling technology, to the special printing ink. A custom-developed robot-based handling system with a heavy-duty robot positions panels up to 250 kg with accuracy to fractions of a millimeter. Printing is done with an eight-color printing system (6 process colors, white, varnish) that covers a particularly large color gamut; special prints such as opaque white printing with blocking layer or translucent printing are also possible. Color management, spectrophotometry and a climate-controlled production hall with fine dust filters and positive pressure ensure reproducibility over thousands of square meters. When needed, the company draws on industrial glass processing equipment such as CNC beveling and cutting; finishing options include toughened safety glass (TSG) and laminated glass.

Quality
To ensure reproducibility, a high-quality spectrophotometer is used both for profiling the printing system and for continuous production monitoring. Printing takes place in a hall that is temperature-controlled and humidity-stabilized year-round, with filtered positive-pressure air.
