Glashandel Maier-Schmitt GmbH, based in Neustadt near Coburg, is a glass-specialized company for glass processing, glass fabrication and installation. The seven-member team serves as a wholesale partner to trades, retail and industry, handling projects from creative planning through manufacturing to professional installation. The portfolio ranges from object glazing such as all-glass facades and shop windows to patio and carport canopies, house entrance canopies made of glass-aluminium constructions, wind and privacy protection panels, shower enclosures, all-glass door systems and railing systems, through to illuminated glass elements with protection class IP65. Materials processed include, among others, toughened safety glass (ESG), industrial cast glass for profile glazing, and mouth-blown antique glass for leaded and art glazing in restoration work. Glass finishing services include printing, laminating/film application, painting, sandblasting, screen printing and UV bonding. Thanks to its central location in the heart of Upper Franconia with access to the A 73, the company operates in Franconia and Thuringia and delivers finished glass constructions right to the customer's door.
