Glashütte M. Polczer GmbH – Glass with Passion

The Glashütte M. Polczer GmbH was founded in 1993 by Michael Polczer and is a family-run glass art company based in Pocking in Lower Bavaria. The company manufactures hand-shaped glass articles of the MP Glaszauber brand – vases, garden and home decoration as well as solar lighting, which can be retrofitted for many articles. Production takes place at the company's own glassworks Jannik SRL in Transylvania (Romania), where all articles are shaped by master craftsmen at the glass furnace. The product designs are created directly at the glass furnace; new articles and collections are added every year. In addition, Michael Polczer develops artistic glass objects and installations, which can be seen around the company headquarters in Pocking and in public spaces. Distribution runs via wholesale and retail, renowned garden centres in Germany and Austria, as well as a 650 square metre factory outlet in Pocking and an online shop.
