About Glashütte Original
Glashütte Original is a German luxury watch brand of Glashütter Uhrenbetrieb GmbH, based in Glashütte, Saxony. The manufactory develops and produces its own mechanical calibres as well as complete wristwatches; around 95 % of all components are made in-house. Production combines traditional watchmaking craftsmanship – such as the three-quarter plate, gold balance cock and chatons – with state-of-the-art manufacturing processes under one roof. The range comprises the model families Senator, Pano, Spezialist, Vintage and Ladies. Each piece receives an individual four-digit serial number, of which a maximum of 9,999 pieces are assigned per model. Owned by the Swatch Group, the brand distributes its watches through a worldwide dealer network and boutiques.
