About Glatsch
Glatsch BALNOT AG produces artisanally crafted ice cream and sorbet in Surava, in the heart of Graubünden. The range includes ice cream, sorbet as well as organic ice cream and organic sorbet with 100% organically certified varieties, available as single portions or 500-ml family packs. Production uses as many regional ingredients as possible: a farmer from Surava delivers the organic milk fresh every day in traditional milk churns, the cream is sourced from the Puracenter in Lenzerheide, and fruit comes from Swiss producers, including strawberries from an organic farm in Tomils and elderberries from the surrounding area. In contrast to industrially manufactured products, significantly less air is whipped in during production, resulting in a fine and creamy consistency. Products are sold via direct sales from the production facility with a shop in Surava, as well as through distribution partners delivering throughout German-speaking Switzerland. The company received media attention, among other things, through an SRF report in the programme 10 vor 10 in 2019.

Quality
The small production facility in Surava processes as many regional ingredients as possible, including organic milk delivered fresh daily and fruit from Swiss producers. Due to lower air incorporation compared with industrially manufactured products, a fine, creamy consistency is achieved; the range includes 100% organically certified varieties.
