About Globa-Tex

Globa-Tex GmbH, based in Löhne (North Rhine-Westphalia), develops and distributes fabrics for the furniture industry and other lifestyle sectors. The range includes well over 1,600 articles, including proprietary functional fabrics such as CanvasBione, MerlinMagic, SmellRes and BodyFlux with odour-repellent, stain-repellent and flame-retardant properties. Product development and colour selection are carried out internally by an in-house design team with a focus on current trends. Compliance with the furniture standard DIN EN 14465:2006 for upholstery fabrics is ensured in the company's own laboratory through incoming goods inspection and testing of running production as well as new developments; external certificate requirements are implemented together with the accredited laboratory CTL Bielefeld. Stocking of the range is ensured in more than 15,000 m² of company premises including a showroom in Löhne; warehousing services, logistics and fast order processing complement the offering. Distribution is worldwide, with customers in Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia.

Quality & Testing

Compliance with the furniture standard DIN EN 14465:2006 for upholstery fabrics is ensured in the company's own laboratory through regular incoming goods inspection of running production and testing of new developments. External certificate requirements are implemented by Globa-Tex in cooperation with the accredited laboratory CTL Bielefeld.
