About Global LightZ
Global LightZ was founded in 2007 and develops and manufactures custom light guides and light elements that generate light very efficiently using plasma based on the patented e³ technology. Individual customer solutions are the focus: no catalogue products are deliberately offered; instead, a precisely tailored solution is developed once customer requirements have been understood. The e³ technology today comprises more than 20 technology platforms and is continuously being developed further; it can also be provided as a service or licensed. For manufacturing, a dedicated, newly developed, very large and flexible pilot and production facility in Breitungen is available, along with laboratory and smaller production facilities; in addition, capacities of licensees are used. Services include consulting, simulation, prototype construction, pre-series production, CNC bending of light sources in 2D and 3D as well as optical bonding. Applications can be found, among others, in lighting design, medical diagnostic and technical analysis devices, industrial displays, ATMs, refrigeration appliances, dynamic office lighting, and photo and film studio lighting. The site is located in Breitungen in Thuringia.
