About Global Retool Group
The Global Retool Group (GRG) is an internationally active provider of retooling, retrofitting, overhaul and servicing of machine tools, as well as fixture construction and turnkey automation in welding and grinding technology. At its headquarters in Lebach (GRG Europe), welding fixtures and automated welding systems – MIG, TIG, spot welding and laser welding, including robot-integrated cells and fully automated lines – are developed from design through manufacturing in an in-house machine shop to on-site assembly and commissioning. In addition, GRG offers automated grinding systems as well as complete system relocations including disassembly, logistics coordination, reassembly and testing. The range of services is primarily aimed at the automotive industry, including engine and driveline production, prismatic parts and body-in-white construction. In addition to its European headquarters, GRG operates sites in New Hudson, Michigan (GRG America) and Ramos Arizpe, Mexico (GRG Mexico). The company traces its origins to a machine tool tradition founded in 1881 (SIEPMANN) and has been organized as the Global Retool Group since 2004.
