GLÖTZL Gesellschaft für Baumesstechnik mbH has been developing and producing instruments for monitoring subsoil and structures since 1957. The portfolio includes stress cells, piezometers, force and anchor force gauges, settlement measurement systems, inclinometers, plumb lines, strain gauges, extensometers, joint meters as well as measuring systems, dataloggers and software solutions. The mechanical components are manufactured in the company's own production facility in Ettlingenweier, among other things on modern CNC lathes with a fully digitalized workflow from the production drawing to machine programming. Sensors are equipped with intelligent digital sensors, piezoresistive silicon chips and vibrating wire technology. As a production company, the firm combines the entire value chain from the sensor to data acquisition and online evaluation under one roof and develops custom-made special solutions on customer request. Fields of application include dams, tunnels, bridges, mines, landfills and slope stabilization; reference projects range from the Paris Metro via the ICE line Munich-Kassel, the Hochmosel Bridge and the nuclear repository Gorleben to a South American radio telescope. Company headquarters and repair service are located in Rheinstetten near Karlsruhe.
