About GLP – German Light Products
GLP German Light Products GmbH was founded in 1994 by Udo Künzler with the goal of developing a novel hybrid device combining scanner and moving light technology, which became known under the name Patend Light. Based in Karlsbad (Baden-Württemberg), the company develops and distributes professional lighting solutions for the entertainment industry, including moving lights such as the impression series, LED modules, hybrid strobes such as the JDC1, wash lights such as the HIGHLANDER, as well as software and service tools. Proprietary technologies such as the iQ.Gamut color mixing technology and the iQ.Mesh wireless networking are an integral part of product development at the Karlsbad headquarters. The products are used worldwide on concert tours, in TV studios and theaters, in stadiums and arenas, on cruise ships and in the house-of-worship sector. Through branches in the USA, UK, China, France, Sweden, Spain and Slovakia, GLP distributes its products internationally. As a family-run company, GLP sees itself as a development partner of lighting designers, production companies and rental firms.
