About Gluecom
Gluecom is a European manufacturer of industrial adhesives headquartered in Lokeren, Belgium. The company develops and produces hotmelt adhesives (EVA, metallocene, PSA), PVA-based dispersion adhesives, starch and dextrin adhesives, animal glues (jelly glue), neoprene-based contact adhesives as well as parquet adhesives based on MS polymer and silicone. In addition, heat-seal reinforcement tapes are manufactured. The products are used mainly in the paper and packaging industry, the graphic arts industry, wood processing and general mechanical and plant engineering. The first production site was founded in 1924; today the group employs more than 130 staff at locations in Belgium (Lokeren and Bruges), France (Saint-Germain-Lès-Arpajon near Paris), the United Kingdom (Aldridge and Basildon), Poland (Dąbrówka/Karpin near Warsaw) and Germany (Mühlacker, Gluecom Deutschland). In addition to formulation development, Gluecom offers technical application support and local customer service teams across Europe. The group continuously invests in facilities, research and development, including bio-based adhesive formulations and recyclable packaging solutions.
