About GLUETEX
GLUETEX GmbH, based in Klettgau-Erzingen, has been active in the field of textile sun protection fabrics since 2005 and has established adhesive technology there as an alternative to sewing. The product range includes hotmelt tapes, hotmelt adhesive films (foils) and seam sealing tapes for joining fabrics made of acrylic, polyester, PVC and polyurethane-coated textiles. Since 2009, the core technological competencies have been transferred to further industrial application fields, especially in the textile, automotive and electrical industries. As a system partner, GLUETEX supports customers from the development phase through to series application, including sampling, testing of adhesive solutions, production as well as logistics and shipping. The adhesive bonds are waterproof, easily automated and meet requirements for mechanical load capacity, temperature resistance and permanent bond stability. For distribution in Italy, the company works with the distribution partner SYN&TEK SRL in Busto Arsizio.

Hotmelt tape made from polyester polymers
Unreinforced single-layer hotmelt tape with low viscosity for bonding acrylic and polyester fabrics, PVC and polyurethane-coated fabrics.
Hotmelt tape made of polyurethane (ester-based)
Solvent-free hotmelt tape with high viscosity for fabrics with special surface structures such as coated textiles.
Monofilament-reinforced polyester hotmelt tape
Double-sided adhesive tape reinforced with monofilament fabric for seam reinforcement with good recovery behavior and an elastic seam.
Polyurethane
Base for adhesive tapes and seam sealing tapes with good adhesion and resistance to solvents and weathering.
Polyethylene
Adhesive films (EKF 210, EKF 220, EKF 230) are particularly suitable for bonding polypropylene.
