About GMA Garnet
GMA Garnet Group develops and markets garnet abrasives for blasting applications (abrasive blasting) and waterjet cutting, as well as specialty minerals such as ilmenite sand, pyroxene and rutile for applications such as water filtration, rubber fillers and anti-skid products. More than 40 years ago, the company pioneered the use of garnet as a blasting abrasive in a small coastal town in Western Australia. This resulted in a high-quality product portfolio, including GMA ToughBlast™, GMA PremiumBlast™, GMA NewSteel™ as well as the waterjet products GMA ClassicCut™ 60, 80 and 120. According to its own statements, GMA manages the entire supply chain from mine to customer, with 3 mines, 10 processing plants and 28 locations worldwide. Customers include companies from Oil & Gas, industrial services, shipbuilding, metal, glass and stone cutting industries as well as water filtration, including Apache Industrial Services and Smith & Nephew.
