About GMK electronic design
GMK electronic design is a family-owned company founded in 1992 and headquartered in Wernberg-Köblitz (Bavaria), specialising in the development and manufacturing of custom keyboards, keycaps, display and control panels as well as peripheral devices. As a full-service provider, GMK accompanies projects across the entire product life cycle: from product development and EMC-compliant PCB design through prototyping, EMS production (SMD/THT assembly, reflow, wave and hand soldering) to module and final assembly, functional testing, packaging and after-sales service. In-house manufacturing areas include 2-component injection moulding for keycaps (ABS, PBT), 3D printing, CNC machining and test equipment construction. Materials include plastic, aluminium, stainless steel and thermally tempered float glass. The systems are used in industries such as automation/robotics, automotive, mechanical engineering, medical technology, financial services, data centres, airports, energy/process industry and the food industry. All products are developed and manufactured in Germany.
