About GMT Europe

GMT Europe is a manufacturer of motorized and manual positioning systems headquartered in Westerstede (Lower Saxony). The product range includes precision stages (BX series), simplified linear stages, compact axes (GKS series), modular multi-axis systems (SX series), hexapod platforms (HX series) and 3-axis systems (SAX/GXA series) with repeat accuracies down to the nanometer range. The mechanical components are made of stainless steel, aluminium and steel; guideways are ground and hardened in the company's own plant. The precision stages feature a monoblock design made from a stainless steel profile that ensures high thermal stability. Final assembly and final inspection take place in Germany, complemented by an in-house metrology area. The systems are used primarily in semiconductor manufacturing and wafer handling, in optics and photonics, fiber optics and alignment, test and measurement technology as well as in automated production systems. In addition to standard products, the company offers "Custom Made" individual adaptations and new developments of positioning systems; sales are handled via an online shop as well as a worldwide network of sales and service locations.
