GMW Burg GmbH is a special machinery and heavy machinery engineering company based in Burg (Saxony-Anhalt). The company manufactures welded large parts and steel load-bearing structures up to 100 t unit weight, performs heavy machining of cast and welded parts up to 100 t, and offers workshop assembly, workshop testing and commissioning including electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Machining is carried out on gantry machining centers, vertical lathes and boring mills. An in-house design department as well as the subsidiary BEAB E&S handle engineering and design, especially for components in steel and rolling mill technology, metallurgical engineering and industrial technology. The portfolio includes special machinery, vacuum chambers for electron beam welding systems, heavy-duty and forging manipulators, conveying systems as well as jig and production tooling.
