About Göbber
Göbber GmbH, based in Eystrup (Nienburg/Weser district), is a traditional fruit-processing company producing jams, fruit spreads, fruit syrups and fruit fillings. The company also operates honey processing. Production is primarily as a private-label manufacturer for food retail (including Edeka, Rewe, Lidl, the Markant Group), the bakery trade, the baking industry, bulk consumers and the catering sector, in some cases also in portion packs. Production capacity is around 500,000 jars per day, up to 500 jars per minute and approximately 80,000 tonnes of annual production. The family business, founded in 1888 by Friedrich Göbber, was run in its fourth generation and employs around 350 staff, making it one of the largest employers in the region. As of 1 October 2025, the Göbber Group was acquired by Schwarz Produktion; the brand business ("Glück", "Wertvoll") had previously been sold to Grupo Helios.
