Traditional company since 1861

Göhler Sitzmöbel GmbH is a Saxon family business in its 5th generation, headquartered in Mulda in the Erzgebirge. Founded in 1861 as a chair factory by Karl Philipp, the company today produces around 25,000 seats and tables per year with approx. 40 employees on a 10,000 sqm production area. Production extends "from the board to the complete chair": CNC-controlled pre-fabrication of components on 5- and 6-axis machining centers, frame construction, steam bending of wood, surface treatment and an in-house upholstery shop. Domestic woods such as beech, ash (also thermo-ash) and oak from sustainable regional forestry are processed, as well as wood-based materials such as E1 chipboard, multiplex, joinery boards and MDF boards. Customers include care and social facilities, hotels and gastronomy, office and conference areas, municipal facilities, churches and private customers (own brand "natürlich massiv Philipp"). The offering includes custom-made products and small series from 50 units, measurement on site, delivery with an own vehicle fleet, assembly service as well as refurbishment of existing furniture.
