Goetze KG Armaturen – Safety under pressure since 1949
Goetze KG Armaturen develops and manufactures safety valves, pressure reducers, bypass and control valves, pressure relief valves, diaphragm valves, shut-off and check valves, changeover ball valves, vent valves, strainers and system separators. The valves are made from stainless steel, gunmetal (also lead-free), brass, spheroidal graphite cast iron, cast steel and plastics such as PPSU, PA and POM, covering pressure ranges from 0.2 to 1500 bar and temperatures from -270 °C to +400 °C; nominal sizes range from DN 8 to DN 125. The family-owned company, founded in 1949 in Ludwigsburg and now in its fourth generation, supplies industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, chemicals, plant and mechanical engineering, building services, shipbuilding, drinking water, cryogenics, heating, solar thermal and hydrogen. In addition to standard products, Goetze offers customised special variants, express production with 48-hour shipping readiness and an average delivery time of 3–5 working days. Production takes place at the headquarters in Ludwigsburg with a Water & Building competence centre in Mosbach; subsidiaries exist in the USA, Brazil and China.

Materials and Production
Stainless steel
For industrial, cryogenic and pharmaceutical applications; series such as 9000 use stainless steel 1.4404 and 1.4401.
Lead-free gunmetal CuSn4Zn2PS
Corrosion-resistant, lead-free gunmetal for drinking water and building services applications such as the Series 9000 pressure reducer.
Brass
Standard material for valves in building services and industry.
Spheroidal graphite cast iron
For pressure-bearing valve bodies in industrial applications.
Cast steel
For high-pressure-resistant housing components.
Gunmetal
Corrosion-resistant material with a long service life, e.g. in car wash systems.
EPDM (elastomer)
Sealing material for media in the steam and drinking water sector.
Plastic (PPSU, glass-fibre reinforced PA, POM)
Engineering plastics for cavitation- and media-resistant valve inserts.
