Gooch & Housego (G&H) is a photonics manufacturer offering engineering and manufacturing of photonic solutions for OEM customers. The portfolio comprises acousto-optic, electro-optic, fiber and precision optic components as well as polymer optics, optical coatings and filters, lens systems and vision systems including periscopes. In-house crystal growth (crystal boules) forms the basis of the Crystal Optics manufacturing; materials used include crystals, glass, polymers and optical fibers. The services cover the entire product life cycle from development through New Product Introduction (NPI) to series production and lifecycle management. Customer industries include industrial and telecommunications (e.g. laser-based manufacturing, underwater communication, energy infrastructure), aerospace and defense, quantum technology and life sciences (diagnostics, analytics, surgery, therapy and drug delivery).
