About Gowow Motorcycles

Gowow Motorcycles was founded in 2020 in Beijing and is a 100 % family-owned private company that manufactures light electric motorcycles for the Dirt, Enduro, Street and City Mobility segments. The company employs around 70 staff, 18 of whom work in development, and relies entirely on in-house development and in-house production. Core components such as the drive motor, electronic control system, battery system, front and rear shock absorbers and an intelligent operating system are developed in-house. As its production model, Gowow exclusively uses self-built production facilities and is building its own supply chain for core components. The product portfolio includes the ORI and Alpha models; via the app, riding modes, power curves, scene modes and speed settings can be configured. Since August 2023, Gowow has maintained two foreign subsidiaries in Munich (EMEA) and in the USA (Americas) with the aim of establishing a stronger presence in Europe, America, Southeast Asia and Oceania.
