About GP Beton
GP Günter Papenburg AG, through its subsidiaries GP Papenburg Betonwerke Nord GmbH, GP Betonwerke Ost GmbH, GP Betonwerke West GmbH and GP Alster Beton GmbH, produces ready-mixed concrete and specialty building materials for almost all areas of construction. The product range includes normal-strength concrete from C8/10 to C50/60, steel-fibre concrete, coloured concrete, lightweight and heavyweight concretes, water-impermeable (WU) concretes, architectural concrete, self-compacting concrete, roller-compacted, sprayed and grouting concretes as well as recycled concrete (R-Beton). In addition, specialty building materials such as flowing screed, controlled infill fill, channel backfill material, mortar and GP liquid soil are produced. The raw materials such as cement, gravel and sand are sourced predominantly regionally; as a standard, blast-furnace cements containing ground granulated blast-furnace slag (CEM III/A and III/B) with a significantly reduced CO2 footprint are used. The concretes comply with DIN EN 206 and DIN 1045-2. In addition, the plants offer their own concrete transport with truck mixers, a concrete pump service from 24 m to 56 m as well as satellite-supported regional dispatch. The GP Group comprises around 4,000 employees in 61 subsidiaries and business units.

Normal-strength concrete in various strength classes, grain sizes and consistencies for building construction, industrial construction, bridge construction and landscaping.
Blast-furnace cement CEM III/A
Cement containing ground granulated blast-furnace slag with a CO2 footprint reduced by approximately 36 % compared with the average German cement.
Blast-furnace cement CEM III/B
Cement with a CO2 balance reduced by more than 50 % for climate-friendly concretes.
Recycled concrete
Improves the CO2 balance and can be used equivalently for some applications; not available at all locations.
Steel-fibre concrete
For steel-fibre floor slabs in industrial and commercial construction.
WU concrete (water-impermeable concrete)
For white tanks in below-grade construction.
Self-compacting concrete
For demanding structural components without compaction effort.

All building materials are subject to strict quality controls; the concretes comply with the standards DIN EN 206 and DIN 1045-2. Numerous plants are certified according to CSC (Concrete Sustainability Council) with Silver status.
