About GP Betonwerke Nord
GP Papenburg Betonwerke Nord GmbH, headquartered in Hannover-Anderten, is a regional manufacturer of ready-mixed concrete and concrete pump services for structural and civil engineering. The company is part of GP Günter Papenburg AG, a family-owned business founded in 1963 with around 4,000 employees and 66 subsidiaries. From 17 ready-mixed concrete plants in the Hanover, Braunschweig-Wolfsburg, Celle, Salzgitter, Goslar and Helmstedt regions, the company supplies concrete from C8/10 to C50/60 using its own 4-axle truck mixers and semi-trailer mixers, as well as specialty building materials such as steel-fibre concrete, water-impermeable concrete, architectural concrete, FD concrete, heavy and lightweight concrete, shotcrete, roller-compacted concrete, flowing screed and backfill materials. The range is complemented by concrete pumps from 24 M to 56 M, stationary indoor pumps, building materials testing, disposal services and GP Systemstein blocks for storage bays and partition walls. Customer industries include building construction, industrial and commercial construction, bridge and engineering construction, agricultural construction as well as landscaping. On 1 June 2025, the company took over three ready-mixed concrete plants from Heidelberg Materials in the Hanover market area.
