Behind the Technology

RIEDL is the brand of GPI SpA based in Trento and has been developing automation systems for the pharmaceutical industry for over 15 years. The portfolio comprises three robotic warehouse systems: RIEDL Phasys as a flexible, customized solution, RIEDL Easy as a ready-to-use standard solution for pharmacies, and RIEDL Ward for hospital departments with up to two wards. The services range from analysis and consulting through project engineering and installation to continuous support, maintenance, updates and training. Customers include pharmacies, hospitals and pharmaceutical wholesalers in Italy and internationally, with reference projects in Iceland (Akureyrarapótek) and Switzerland (Schwarzbuebe Apotheke, Breitenbach). In the German-speaking region, sales are handled by GPI CEE GmbH in Klagenfurt (Austria). GPI SpA is part of the GPI Group (www.gpigroup.com).
