About us
The GRÄFE Stairs + Handrail Manufactory is a family-run craft business in its fourth generation from Großröhrsdorf in Saxony, in existence since 1914. The company plans and manufactures individual stairs (block stairs, stringer stairs, open-tread beam stairs), railings made of glass, stainless steel and wood, as well as handrail systems as system solutions and custom-made products in solid wood such as oak, maple and cherry. All projects are realized by the same team, from cutting through production in the company's own woodworking and metalworking sections to installation. The equipment includes a CNC machining centre, 3D laser measuring systems (Flexijet) and an integrated CAD-CAM system for 3D planning and highly complex 3D milling. Customers include private clients, hotels, public buildings, office and commercial properties – references include, among others, HUGO BOSS Metzingen, Hamburg Airport and the Steigenberger Hotel Frankfurt. Special productions such as staircase and handrail lighting as well as built-in furniture complement the portfolio.
