Rubber Technology from Melle
Grahneis GmbH, based in Melle, is a specialist in rubber molded parts and rubber-to-material bonds with a tradition of more than a hundred years in rubber processing. The company produces custom elastomer precision parts with tolerances down to 50 micrometers as well as composite articles in which rubber is durably vulcanized onto cast iron, aluminum, stainless steel or plastics. Production takes place on injection molding machines and compression presses with tool clamping areas up to 1,000 × 1,000 mm; the product range spans from pump membranes weighing only a few tenths of a gram to bonded assemblies weighing more than 100 kg. Proprietary material formulations and elastomer compounds are adjusted as required to hardness levels between approximately 15° Shore A and 95° Shore D. Customers come from the pharmaceutical and food industries, aerospace (including MT Aerospace AG), agricultural machinery, metrology and control instrument technology, and plant engineering.
