Since 1993, Grasmück Insektenschutzsysteme GmbH has manufactured custom-made insect screens of the Neher brand for windows, balcony and patio doors as well as light shafts. From its headquarters in Ronneburg-Altwiedermus, the company serves the Rhine-Main region. The product overview features over 400 installation variants, including tension frames, roller blinds, pivot frames, swing and sliding doors as well as special shapes such as pointed or round arches. Production combines computer-controlled machines for highly precise drilling and exact cutting with a pneumatic press for stable corner joints; the insertion and tensioning of the mesh is done by hand. Neher profiles and various particularly fine-mesh insect screen fabrics are processed; light shaft covers are made of stainless steel mesh. The offering includes consultation and on-site measurement, installation usually without drilling, repair and mesh replacement service as well as a washing service using an INTEA ICS washing machine. The complete all-in-one service covers measurement, production and installation without subcontractors; the manufacturing time is approximately two to three weeks.
