About us

Grau Apparatebau GmbH manufactures sewing attachments for industrial sewing machines: binders, swing folder attachments, tucker folders, double hemmers, cover tape and piping attachments, pintuck guides, edge guides and high-lift guides for machines from Dürkopp Adler, Pfaff, Juki, Typical, Global and Brother. Production is carried out according to the company's own product range and according to sample; for optimal function of the attachments, the company expects a sewing sample, material and tape with orders. In addition, a repair service for household sewing machines of all brands is offered. The company was founded in 1969 as Mechanische Werkstätte Grau in Heuchlingen and has been operating as Grau Apparatebau GmbH since 1987. Since 1990, the company has been based in Mögglingen with approx. 250 m² of workshop space and 5 employees, where the attachments are produced on modern machines. Components are made predominantly from steel, e.g. hardened slotted screws to DIN 85.
