GravNav - Reliable Navigation Solutions is a Hamburg deep-tech startup developing reliable, jam-proof navigation technology. The method uses the Earth's gravitational fingerprint as a positioning reference and synthesizes all physically available positioning signals using advanced sensor fusion algorithms. This achieves accurate navigation without the irreversible drift of purely inertial systems and without dependence on vulnerable external infrastructure such as satellite-based navigation (GPS). Designed as a plug-and-play system, the product enables jamming- and spoofing-resistant maritime navigation on any route and serves as a resilient, cost-efficient fail-safe solution for civilian and military vessels. The Hamburg-based company employs 1 to 10 people and sees itself as a contribution to European technological sovereignty.
