About the Gravur-Manufaktur
The Gravur-Manufaktur was founded in 2006 by master engraver Carola Frericks in Bad Kleinen (Hoppenrade district, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The focus is on hand engraving as well as machine-assisted engraving: surface decorations such as ornaments, figurative depictions, coats of arms, monograms and lettering are engraved by hand; guild and house marks, seals, individually designed signs and anniversary gifts are produced with machine assistance as one-off custom pieces. Materials processed include metal (including sterling silver), leather and textiles, wood, slate, glass and acrylic. A speciality is diamond-cutter engraving on Zippo lighters, belt buckles for cartridge belts and belt buckles, executed as single or series engravings according to customer specifications. In addition, personalised laser engravings are offered on items such as wine glasses, mugs and wooden boards; an online shop offers prefabricated items with engraved motifs for trades, guilds, fire services and police. The company serves private customers, associations and corporate customers requiring individualised engraved products.
