About GREEN BLOCK
Green Block Machine & Service GmbH, based in Attnang-Puchheim, Austria, is a specialized plant manufacturer for scrap cutting plants. Founded in 2016, the company also operates its own mobile steel cutting plant and offers contract cutting as well as the size reduction of heavy steel and iron parts – including rolls, slabs, steel bears, ingot moulds, machine parts and cast blocks up to a material thickness of 2.5 meters. The mobile plant features integrated dust extraction and is operated by a single person from an air-conditioned control cabin. In addition to plant engineering, GREEN BLOCK sells oxygen lance tubes and iron powder for oxy-fuel cutting. The interplay of technology and hands-on practical experience flows directly into the engineering: developments are tested for practical suitability on the company's own plant. Customers come from steel mills, foundries and the scrap recycling industry, including Voestalpine, Breitenfeld Edelstahl and ThyssenKrupp.
