About Greenerity

Greenerity GmbH develops and produces membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) and catalyst-coated membranes (CCMs), which are used as core components in PEM fuel cell and PEM electrolysis applications. The company has more than 30 years of experience in electrolysis and fuel cell technology. Its origins date back to 1992, when the first activities began as part of the Degussa Group; via the joint venture SolviCore (Umicore & Solvay), Greenerity has belonged to the Japanese Toray Group for more than ten years. Greenerity products are used, among other things, in hydrogen production via PEM electrolysis, in power generation in PEM fuel cells, and in maritime applications such as the EU-co-funded H2MARINE project. The company is centrally represented in the Rhine-Main region with three sites: Alzenau-Süd (headquarters, development, production), Alzenau-Nord (production, administration) and Hanau (production).
